A tale of the mythological west

The year is 1883 and the Colorado town of Goetia is booming as prospectors from near and far come to mine the powerful new element Divinity. However, the hopeful prospectors need help from social pariahs known as the Fallen. The Fallen are the descendants of demonkind who once battled against the Virtues, the winners of their ancient war. Now, both sides of the conflict are living among each other in Goetia.

It's in this troubled town that we meet Celeste, a card shark with a need for justice. She takes on the role of advocatus diaboli to defend her sister Mariel, who is accused of murdering a Virtue. Unfortunately, the journey to prove her sister's innocence threatens to become much more dangerous than Celeste ever bargained for.
